| Ingredients: ¾ Cup Butter or Shortening 1 Cup Brown Sugar 1 Cup White Sugar 2 Eggs Pinch of Salt ½ Egg Shell of Water 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda ½ Teaspoon Baking Powder 3 ¼ Cups All Purpose Flour 1 Cup Chopped Nuts, I use Pecans Directions: Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Add the eggs and mix until blended. Add the salt, water, baking soda and baking powder and mix. Add the flour and mix until dough forms. Stir in the nuts. Form the dough into 2-3 rolls, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate over night or longer. Slice very thin and bake at 350°. Servings: 5 dozen Recipe Difficulty: Normal Preparation Time: 20 Min. + overnight Cooking Time: 30 Min. Country: USA |
