| Ingredients: 1Quart Fresh Blueberries (Fresh fruit such as blackberries, raspberries and marion berries work well) ½ Cup Cold Water 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch ½ Cup White Sugar Dash of Salt ½ Teaspoon Lemon Juice Directions: Wash fresh berries or use frozen berries. In a small bowl combine the cold water and cornstarch. Place berries in a medium size pot. Add the water/cornstarch mixture, sugar and salt, stirring constantly over a low heat until thickened. Stir in the lemon juice and remove from heat. Cool and serve over cheesecake, yellow or white cake or ice cream. |
