Ingredients:marinara

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 Medium Onion, chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic, peeled and chopped
1 Can (28 oz.) Crushed Tomatoes
1 Can (8 oz.) Tomato Sauce
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasonings
1 Teaspoon White Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
2-3 Tablespoons Wine
Spaghetti, Angel Hair Pasta or Ravioli

Directions:

Start preparing for the pasta by adding hot water and a pinch of salt to a large pot and bring to a boil.

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a medium size saucepan. Add the onions and garlic, stirring occasionally, cook for 10 minutes.

Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings and sugar to the onions and garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes then add the wine and simmer for 10 more minutes.

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain pasta, serve with Marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.

Note: When cooking the pasta, I like to add a few drops of olive oil for flavor and to prevent sticking. I also cook my pasta al dente.
